Our Story

Two Dads Coffee Co. is a story about coffee, and it’s a story about family. I grew up in Guatemala, he’s from the Pacific Northwest.   While our paths may have crossed by chance, our commitment to each other and our love of coffee took us to Guatemala, which is where we expanded our family by one.  When marriage equality passed in the US, we were able to move back to Portland, Oregon and now call this mecca of craft coffees home.

From indigenous coffee cooperatives to traditional family farms, all of our premium beans are sourced from our friends and family throughout Guatemala.  We bring the beans to Portland to roast them with the same passion, love, and respect that unites our family and our respective coffee-loving cultures.
